She passed away peacefully while living in the home of her daughter Joy and her husband, where she had resided for the past fifteen years. Bessie Estalene was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, RV Wells; her grandparents Curtis L. Blanton, Effie Cora Murray Blanton, Daniel Morgan Wells, and Bessie Rivenbark Wells; her parents Pender Wells and Cora Lee Blanton Wells; and her siblings Addie Wells Liss, Samuel H.
